Cbdeeme Editorial Review

If you’re sober-curious or just want a lighter, friendlier buzz than a gummy, Southern High’s Delta-9 + CBG Seltzer hits a sweet spot. The 5mg Delta-9 with 10mg CBG combo makes the ride feel smooth and social—enough mood lift to take the edge off, with CBG keeping things balanced instead of racy. Most people will notice first signals within 20–30 minutes, then a relaxed, present state that’s great for backyard hangs, game nights, or unwinding after work—without alcohol’s baggage.

Shipping and Product Arrival

We ordered a couple of four packs and they arrived well-packaged in a surprisingly generous amount of high-quality bubble wrap, which we love to pop (and this wrap gives you that extra “pop”). Anyway, great protective wrapping and the cans are secured in a sturdy hard-plastic separator. The cans have a nicely textured surface, colorful – and no loss of fizz when opened.

Flavor & Feel

All four flavors are crisp—not candy-sweet—and they avoid that bitter “hemp bite” some drinks have. And so we tried a few. Compared to some other brands that we’ve sampled, the Southern High (and their mischievous twin, “Boost,”) deliver a crisp landing on the palate and better yet, no lingering aftertaste, which can be a problem with other brands. Our panel favored Blood Orange for bright citrus and Mango Peach for easy sipping. And love, love, LOVE the Strawberry Lemonade!

The zero-sugar, zero-calorie profile is also a big win if you’re watching macros. And because the dose is measured per can, it’s predictable: one can for a light lift; two if you’ve got higher tolerance or a longer evening planned.

Best Use Cases

Low-key socializing, creative tinkering, movie nights, or swapping out a cocktail. If you’re new to THC drinks or sensitive to THC, start with half a can and give it time to bloom. Regular edible users may find it gentle—but that’s the point: balanced, functional chill over fireworks. These were perfect on the hot day that we tried them at a home patio party.

Quality & Trust

Labeling is clear, flavors are consistent, and COAs are available by batch. As always, check your local rules, and remember: any THC product can flag a drug test.

Pros

  • Balanced 1:2 D9:CBG ratio feels smooth and approachable
  • Zero sugar, zero calories, alcohol-free
  • Predictable 5mg D9 dose per can—easy to pace
  • Clean flavors with minimal hemp aftertaste
  • COA access for verification

Cons

  • 5mg D9 may be too light for high-tolerance users (they might prefer 2 cans). But …we also LOVE the Southern High Boost – with 10mg of Delta 9 and 5mg of THCV.
  • Shipping/availability vary by state
  • THC may appear on drug tests

Recommendation & Editorial Rating

Verdict: A smart, zero-sugar alternative to alcohol with a polished, social-friendly buzz. For THC-curious adults—or anyone wanting chill without the hangover—Southern High D9:CBG Seltzer is an easy yes.
